If you are an experienced Fashion Meets Music family and already know how to take and submit your model’s measurements, you may choose to submit your measurements instead of booking a fitting. If doing this, please ensure measurements are submitted as soon as possible so our styling team can begin preparing your outfit.

How to Measure Your Child

To ensure the best possible outfit fit for Fashion Meets Music, it is very important that measurements are taken accurately. Please provide measurements in cm.

Please use a flexible sewing tape measure and ensure the tape sits fitted around the body — not loose and not pulled tight. The tape should sit comfortably against the body so we can style the outfit correctly. Accurate measurements are essential, as they directly affect the final outfit. Incorrect measurements may result in garments being too big or too small, which can impact the overall runway presentation.

Please measure the following:

• Height: Measure from the top of the head to the floor while standing straight with no shoes.

• Bust / Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest, ensuring the tape stays level around the body.

• Waist: Measure around the natural waistline, which should sit in line with the belly button.

• Hips: Measure around the lowest and widest part of the hips, around the fullest part of the butt.

Please double-check all measurements before submitting to ensure accuracy.
