STEP 1: Book Your Online Fitting

Your first step in the Fashion Meets Music journey is to book your Online Fitting Appointment. During this appointment our team will take your model’s measurements and begin the styling process for their runway outfit. If the provided dates do not work for you, please let us know immediately. Siblings can be fitted during the same booking. Please only make 1.

  • Monday 6th April: 3:30pm - 6:00pm

  • Tuesday 7th April: 3:30pm - 6:00pm

  • Thursday 8th April: 3:30pm - 6:00pm

What you need:

  • Flexible Tape Measure: A sewing tape measure is ideal.

  • Fitted Clothing: Wear a singlet and bike shorts or similar snug attire to ensure accurate measurements.

  • Questions: If you have any questions about Fashion Meets Music, please have them ready to ask during your fitting.

Parent/Guardian Involvement: It is essential to have your parent/guardian with you during the fitting to assist with taking measurements.

Online Fitting Process: ONLINE with DJ Jazzy. To ensure accurate measurements, please follow the instructions provided during your online fitting. Join your session with the link at least 5 minutes early. While we do our best to stay on schedule, some fittings may run over, causing slight delays. If this happens, please remain online unless directed otherwise. If you need to change your appointment, notify us as soon as possible so we can reschedule and open the spot for another model.

Experienced FMM Models/Parents ONLY: If you are an experienced Fashion Meets Music family and already know how to take and submit your model’s measurements, you may choose to submit your measurements instead of booking a fitting. If doing this, please ensure measurements are submitted as soon as possible so our styling team can begin preparing your outfit.

How to Measure Your Child

To ensure the best possible outfit fit for Fashion Meets Music, it is very important that measurements are taken accurately. Please provide measurments in cm.

Please use a flexible sewing tape measure and ensure the tape sits fitted around the body — not loose and not pulled tight. The tape should sit comfortably against the body so we can style the outfit correctly. Accurate measurements are essential, as they directly affect the final outfit. Incorrect measurements may result in garments being too big or too small, which can impact the overall runway presentation.

Please measure the following:

  • Height: Measure from the top of the head to the floor while standing straight with no shoes.

  • Bust / Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest, ensuring the tape stays level around the body.

  • Waist: Measure around the natural waistline, which should sit in line with the belly button.

  • Hips: Measure around the lowest and widest part of the hips, around the fullest part of the butt.

Please double-check all measurements before submitting to ensure accuracy.
